REFUND POLICY
ABSOLUTELY NO PARTS OF ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED, TRANSFERRED OR CREDITED ONCE ENTRY IS ACCEPTED. Entry fees are not transferable to another person. Transferring your application is considered Fraud. ID is required at packet pick-up. If you register on-line after the race is posted ‘closed’ your entry fee will be credited back to your card less a $25.00 processing fee. There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks or declined credit card. Selling your race slot or transfer of your slot is strictly prohibited! If you sell or transfer your race slot, you will be disqualified from the event and you, as well as the racer who used your slot will be unable to race in another of our races for a minimum of 5 years. Additionally, we will report the infraction to USA Triathlon, which may subject to you to further sanctions.
EVENT CANCELLATION OR DELAY OF RACE:
There is NO rain date, We go Rain or Shine. In case of inclement weather, management reserves the right to cancel/alter/modify the race/course for safety concerns. In any case there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must except any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complementary race entry to a future race. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all. Any decision we make to go forth with the race is based on the overall event safety. The race may be delayed or canceled due to adverse weather or other conditions beyond our control. Should the event be delayed, the starting time of the event will be moved back as needed and prudent. If the delay is longer than 90 minutes, the event will be cancelled. The Race Director, and local law enforcement, has the authority to cancel the race. If cancellation of the race is initiated at any time during the race, please follow instructions of the race officials and local law enforcement personnel. Your entry fee is not refundable if the race is cancelled. The Race Director also reserves the right to modify the course at any time before or during the race if instructed by local law enforcement personnel or park officials

IMPORTANT: NO RACE PACKETS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT HAVING PHOTO ID!
USAT members will need both PHOTO ID & USAT CARD!
You may not pick up a race packet for anyone else.
XPRESS CHECK IN: TMC3 members should proceed directly to the TMC3 line. You must have a valid TMC3 membership card to receive your race packet.

T-SHIRTS: To pre registered entrants. Any day of registrants will receive T-shirts upon availability.
TOGA Multisport Club strives for the best safety record in the country. The following rules and regulations have been designed for your personal safety and enjoyment. Failure to comply with these rules will result in penalties and/or disqualification.
-. Competitors must be familiar with the Competitive Rules of USA Triathlon (www.USATriathlon.org) and must conduct themselves accordingly.
- Race management has authority to change race course and format, check-in and start times.
- No entrants under 15 years of age.
- It is the contestant's responsibility to be familiar with and follow the race course.
- It is prohibited to sell your race number or for someone to compete in your place.

11:00 am. - Course officially closes, Awards ceremony, raffle

UPON ARRIVAL:

1. Have your ID ready!
2. Proceed to the check in line that corresponds to your NAME.
3. If you are pre-registered, you will receive a t-shirt with your race packet. 4. If you are a current member of TOGA Multisport proceed to the TMC3 line. Please do not bring your bike to the check in line.

There will be vehicular traffic on the bike course & casual runners/ walkers on the run course. -
Please exercise caution!

RUN: The 2 mile run starts in front of the North Pool, goes counter clockwise around Rockland Lake to the transition area in Parking Lot 2. The turn point to the transition area will be indicated by an arrow atop a green cone. Runners must stay to the right side of the runner's lane (both out and back), as indicated by the "Runners Stay Right" signs affixed to large green cones along the run course. The second run is a reverse of the first (clockwise).
You must wear the run number on your front, and be clearly visible to race officials at ALL times. Folding of race numbers is prohibited.
BIKE: The bike course (15.5 mi.) consists of four (3.9 mile) outer loops of Rockland Lake State Park in a clockwise direction. Bikers must stay to the right at ALL times and may not impede on car traffic under ANY circumstances!
PARK ALERT! The course is not closed to cars, pedestrians, joggers, cyclists, skaters, etc. While biking, competitors must be aware and considerate of non-competitors who will also be sharing the Park roads with competitors.
You do not have right of way or priority over other users of Rockland Lake State Park because you are competing in this event.
Warning! While biking, you may encounter patches of mud, snow and/or ice (depending on the weather/course conditions), bumps on the road, and other minor obstacles that require special caution.
- Each contestant is individually responsible for repair and maintenance of their bike.
· Contestants must follow instructions of race officials and public authorities and must obey all traffic laws.
· Contestants must ride in designated lanes at all times.
- Bikes are not allowed inside the Bath-house and must be left in the transition area.
TRANSITION AREA: In order to protect your bike and equipment, please make sure that only competitors are in the transition area. No friends and/or family should accompany competitors inside the barriers. Bicycles must be properly placed on assigned racks corresponding to race number. NO riding in the transition area or past the "DISMOUNT" signs.
Bikes and equipment may be removed by competitors ONLY upon showing BOTH the run number and bike number to security personnel.
HELMETS: Penalties will be assessed if cycling helmets are not positively secured with chin strap BEFORE leaving the transition area. Riding without a hard-shell helmet will result in immediate disqualification! Helmets must be ANSI, SNELL or USCF approved.
DRAFTING RULES: You must maintain a distance of THREE bike lengths from the bike in front of you! You may not be closer than this distance for any period exceeding 15 seconds. If you are, you will be assessed a two minute penalty for each infraction.
Riding in a Pack/Drafting is a Serious Violation of the Rules of the Event! If another competitor is drafting you, yell to him to STOP DRAFTING! If you wish to file an official complaint regarding “drafters”, you must record their race number. A competitor who has three “drafting reports” filed by other competitors will automatically receive a two minute penalty.

RACE NUMBERS/ELECTRONIC TIMING:
At check-in, on the morning of the race, you will pick up an electronic timing chip that corresponds to your assigned bib number. This chip must be attached with a velcro strap to your ankle, and must remain attached throughout the entire event.
Prior to the event, check the label on your chip and make sure that the number on the chip is identical to your assigned bib number.
You cannot use any chip other than the one that is assigned to you on the morning of the race. Wearing any other chip or wearing multiple chips could lead to errors in overall timing and your disqualification.
After you finish the event, you must remove the chip and drop it in the collection bin at the end of the timing chute.
If you lose your chip during the race or fail to turn it in after you cross the finish line, you will be charged $95 for the lost chip. If you paid for the race using a credit card, your card will be charged automatically. Others will be sent an invoice.
Your bib number must be attached to the FRONT of your shirt (or race belt) during the entire race .
If you enter the transition area or cross the finish line and your number is not clearly visible on your FRONT, you will be receive a 2 minute penalty.
The 2-sided vinyl (adhesive-backed) bike frame number must be attached to the front of the top tube of your bicycle and for security reasons may not be removed until you leave the leave the transition area.
Check the label affixed to the timing tag (on the front of your bib number) for correct information regarding your name, age, sex and category.
Notify officials prior to the race of any mistakes!=========================================================
POST-RACE: Awards winners must be present at the post-race awards ceremony to receive their prize. No exceptions! Refreshments are for competitors ONLY! Please wear your race number when entering the buffet line.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located to the left of the main entrance to the Bath-house.
RESULTS: Results will be posted on our web site www.togamultisport.com & www.RoadandTrack.com
PARKING: Rockland Lake State Park is open to all vehicular traffic on weekends. Parking can be found at the North Parking Lot of the park The closest Park entrance to the start of the race is the second entrance to Rockland Lake State Park from the south.
RACE VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
2 Minute Penalties
- Riding in/out of transition area.
- Entering/exiting transition area under, over, or between barriers.
- Bicycle not on assigned bike rack or racked incorrectly.
- Drafting or "pack riding" violation.
- Race # not visible at ALL times while competing.
- Unsecured helmet chin strap leaving or entering transition area.
Disqualification
- Verbal abuse of a volunteer or race official - No warnings will be issued!
- Riding in center of lane (extreme left lane).
- Riding without an approved biking helmet.
- Wearing headphones during any portion of race.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!: Is there someone you know who could help while you're competing? Email Race Director - Lonny MacDougall and leave a message with their name and confirm that they will be at the race. Volunteers will receive a souvenir T-shirt and sincere thanks from all competitors.
